
1、 Introduction
The HTF fire smoke exhaust fan is an HTF (A) series fire smoke exhaust fan, designed using CAD software for multi-objective optimization. It is equipped with a molded axial flow impeller, a built-in high-temperature motor, and a dedicated motor cooling system. Adopting a dual speed motor direct drive system to achieve dual use (i.e. high temperature smoke exhaust during normal ventilation and firefighting), equipped with an electrical control box for remote automatic control. The smoke exhaust fan has the advantages of excellent high temperature resistance, high efficiency, small size, and easy installation (horizontal, vertical, and hoisting can be used).
2、 Application scope
Widely used in high-rise buildings, drying rooms, underground garages, subways, tunnels and other places for fire smoke exhaust and ventilation. According to the GA211-1999 high temperature resistance test method for fire fans, it can operate continuously for more than 100 minutes under high temperature conditions of 400 ℃, and can operate continuously for 20 hours/time without damage under medium temperature conditions of 100 ℃. It has been recognized and adopted by fire departments in major cities across the country. This series of fans can be equipped with a silencing box according to the requirements of installation and use, and made into HTF (A) - X box shaped fire smoke exhaust fans. [2]
3、 Installation process
1. Familiar with the sample of the fan, familiar with the specifications, form, impeller rotation direction, and airflow inlet and outlet direction of the fan, etc. Before installing the fan, the impeller should be checked for any rubbing phenomenon, and each component should be inspected for completeness of accessories and firm connection of each component. Carefully check whether the fan blades are damaged or deformed due to transportation, otherwise they should be repaired before installation.
2. The air ducts connecting the inlet and outlet of the fan should have separate supports, and it is not allowed to add the weight of the ducts to the components of the fan. When installing the fan, attention should be paid to the horizontal position of the fan. The connection between the fan and the foundation and the air outlet duct should be adjusted to fit naturally, and forced connection is not allowed.

After the installation of the fan, use your hand or lever to pull the impeller and check for any tightness or rubbing, as well as any objects that hinder rotation. Only when there are no abnormal phenomena can the test run be carried out. The exposed part of the fan's transmission device should have a protective cover (provided by the user). If the air inlet of the fan is not connected to the pipeline, a protective net or other safety device (to be provided by the user) should also be added.4.
